For those who were around back in the Dark Ages -- between 1999 and 2001 -- the current hype over Web 2.0 sounds very much like the same old poorly considered ideas in new packaging. As User Friendly, one of my favorite online cartoons put it, "Everytime you say 'Web 2.0,' God kills a startup."
